Treasure Time for parents

More connection, less stress. Just 30 minutes a week.

Treasure Time is a guided programme that helps you understand your child, feel more confident as a parent and build a regular habit of connection through play. WHEN FAMILY LIFE FEELS HARD

Parenting feels harder when you’re constantly wondering if you’re getting it right.

It’s easy to spend family life moving from one thing to the next: getting everyone ready, managing behaviour, sorting dinner, negotiating bedtime and trying to get out of the house on time.

Treasure Time gives you a regular space to slow things down and really notice your child. Along the way, you learn practical skills that can help you understand their behaviour, respond to big feelings and feel more confident about how you parent.

Treasure Time helps you create a weekly play ritual that your child can count on. You'll learn play skills, introduce a simple game each week, and learn how to create the conditions for your child to open up and connect with you. The programme is built around your child's natural language of play, the best vehicle for creating a strong relationship. Parents report seeing changes in the relationship after just one Treasure Time playdate.

Built from therapeutic practice. Designed for real working lives.

Treasure Time began with a simple observation: support often peaks around parental leave, then drops away during the long, demanding years that follow. Parents are left to manage the tension privately, while employers struggle to see where loyalty and belonging are being lost.

The programme turns therapist-designed play and guided conversation into a practical workplace-funded experience. Parents receive live support, a small peer cohort and physical materials they can use at home. Employers receive manager enablement and before-and-after reporting — joining human connection with commercial clarity.

how treasure time works

Six weeks. One Treasure Time playdate each week.

Each week, you’ll learn a practical relationship skill and put it into practice during a 30-minute, child-led playdate at home. Over six weeks, you’ll build skills to understand your child better, respond with more confidence and bring more connection into everyday family life.

Set up your Treasure Time

Choose a regular time each week and create a simple space where you and your child can play without distractions. This may seem simple, but it's one of the most important parts of the Treasure Time process. Having a consistent and predictable ritual for Treasure Time helps your child build trust in your relationship.

Learn

Learn one new skill each week

Short, therapist-guided learning introduces you to skills to use inside the playdates, including following your child’s lead, listening, setting boundaries and responding to emotions.

You can either do Treasure Time as a self-guided journey using our app which will walk you through Treasure Time step by step, join a live cohort with other parents, or receive 1:1 coaching with Sophia to be guided through the process.

play

Spend up to 30 minutes playing each week

Once a week, your child gets your undivided attention through child-led play. There’s no activity to complete and no right way for your child to play. Your job is to notice, listen and practise the skills you’re learning.

If you're part of a cohort with other parents you'll bring your reflections and learnings back to the group to share. If you're doing the 1:1 process with Sophia you'll be invited to go deeper to understand what might be going on for your child.

Take the skills into everyday life

The skills don’t stay inside your Treasure Time. You’ll start noticing opportunities to use them at breakfast, after school, during difficult moments, at bedtime and in the ordinary interactions that make up family life. The impact of Treasure Time compounds fast, and parents report being more aware of how they're showing up in their relationship with their child in daily interactions.

Treasure Time has been so impactful for my relationship with the kids. It's probably the most impactful thing we've done.

It was a really eye opening process. All parents should be doing this!

We did a session when she had a really rough day at school, and it really turned her day around—she was so much happier, calmer, and really enjoyed it.

My experience of Treasure Time was incredible. His sleep improved massively, and even after the programme finished he would still ask, ‘Can we do Treasure Time?’

Since starting Treasure Time, my son's been a lot more open and more confident to move around the room in his nursery setting. He's gone from a low mark to right at the top in his report.

Treasure Time made me realise there’s a difference between being together and really being with her. Even five minutes makes a massive difference. I can see how important that time is to her.
